Hello Everyone,
There are some rules to be, if Ray had it his way, lived, breathed, rolled in, and never let go of! And so, without further ado, let us begin the regulating!
1 Don't Ask for a Promotion: You're meant to prove you do help out and are an outstanding member of the guild in order to get promoted. So, asking to become a Jr. Master, or otherwise, will only be greeted with the wrath of thousands of hungry and rabid wolves. BEWARE!
2 R E S P E C T: Find out what it means to me~ Respect every guild member and do your best to show respect to your fellow gamers, even the annoying ones. The point of the guild IS to show that respect can be given and, in return, received, somewhere down the line. We want to show people that we don't stoop to name calling and other inflammatory actions, because that kind of attitude is what's caused the community to go so downhill in the first place.
3 Be Helpful: If someone in the guild needs help, then try your best to provide the help needed. This will encourage everyone to put in effort when it comes to the overall mission, and, it's just a nice thing to do. So, if someone asks for a price check, and you don't know, you could do something like look it up for them, or tell them about a place they might be able to find it out on their own, or even ask your buddy list if they'd know.
4 Maintain Guild Reputation: Don't do the poncey things we're trying to change! Don't scam, KS, harass, etc. There are exceptions to some rules, like if you're defending a friend's map from a KSer, or something, but use common sense!
5 Don't Spam: Spam just annoys the crap out of everyone, so it's best not to do it. So, you know, in the forums, don't just post random gibberish that's completely irrelevant to the topic. In the guild window, don't send oodles of messages and drown out of the conversation with your banter that has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. That sort of thing. Again, common sense is your friend.
6 Clean Guild Talk: We all like to joke around in dirty and sometimes provocative ways, but, considering that some players are younger than others, if you're going to talk dirty, in any sense, try to at least do it in a way that isn't so blatantly obvious that it'd offend people. I know that I love a good perverted joke, but, yano', common sense, yet again. Excessive cursing and things in that context also count as not being clean.
