Reason for Applying
Explain why Hlaalu interests you. You can include experiences you've had, ideas you want to impart, or anything else that has motivated you.

Well, plain and simple, I think this is a good guild with a good message and I'd like to be a part of it. I also wouldn't mind having a civilized guild to chat and hang out with.

What You Offer to Hlaalu
Explain briefly what you consider proper MS etiquette and behavior, as well as any other ways in which you think your inclusion would help further Hlaalu's mission.

I've pretty much always been one to treat others kindly and help them out when they need it, be it just info on an item or build, or helping them kill tauros to complete a quest. I think proper MS etiquette is treating others nicely, not KSing, verbally attacking, or otherwise taunting others, etc. Pretty much all of the common sense stuff the rules outline.

Rules
To prove you're serious, you'll have to show you've read the rules by listing them. In your own words, briefly name each HouseHlaalu rule. You don't have to describe them, all we're looking for is understanding the rules. So, a name or title is sufficient. Copy/pasting will pretty much give you an automatic decline, but you're allowed to look over the rules in another window as long as you still put it into your own words to show you've read them.

-Don't beg for guild rank promotion. (I've earned my way to Jr. in every guild I've ever been in and have never asked, totally not an issue)
-Respect guildmates and other fellow Maplers
-Help people when they need it
-Don't tarnish the guild reputation, we're working towards improving the community as a whole, and that begins with maintaining the guild
-Don't spam chats, it's annoying (I agree)
-No excessive swearing, know there's a place and a time for it

About You
Briefly explain a little bit about yourself.

I'm a student at UC Berkeley, double majoring in Sociology and Geography. I know this character's low, but it's rising fast. I went from 28-35 in one weekend and from 35-37.5 today. I'm pro at CPQ and LMPQ, so it shouldn't take long. My main is/was Ifguad, an 85 sniper, but snipers aren't a very party friendly class and can die really easy if you're not 100% engaged in training at all times. Spearmen are pretty much the other end of the spectrum.

Also, yes, I am a G.I.R.L. It's a pain explaining it every time, but basically I made my female sniper as a little experiment (see: Sociology major) and ended up liking archers. I made this warrior as a mule before you could select genders on 1 account. I don't think it's something mature people should have any problem accepting.

Well, my curiosity motivating the experiment was basically how females were treated in-game versus how males were treated. Perhaps unsurprisingly, in the early levels they seem to be treated a lot nicer (not KSed or verbally harassed as much ~ excluding the ones that hit on you). Interestingly, the higher you get in level, the less and less that it seems to make any difference.

Although I had previously known of the guild before that, from the original thread you made on BasilMarket about it. I posted somewhere on the first page of it, expressing interest, but otherwise tied to my current guild at the time. I buddied you there too.
