Reason for Applying
Explain why Hlaalu interests you. You can include experiences you've had, ideas you want to impart, or anything else that has motivated you.
I'm interested in this guild because I'm looking for a great group of people who can spell/type correctly, use proper grammar and such, and are nice/friendly to most people. I've grown sick at Maplestory's community, with its constant rudeness to everyone, and I just want to find a group of people who practice some common human decency. I've found that before in roughly... half of my buddy list, but I'd like a guildfull now


What You Offer to Hlaalu
Explain briefly what you consider proper MS etiquette and behavior, as well as any other ways in which you think your inclusion would help further Hlaalu's mission.
Hmm... well, for me, spelling/grammar is vital. I loathe chatspeak, it burns my eyes. I could care less about some acronyms (brb, lol, etc), those are fine as they're an accepted form of communication.

Behaviour? Depends on the situation. In general, I'm very nice to everyone, but I also don't like being taken advantage of. So... for example: Bob needs help getting tablecloths from Jr. Wraiths. I'll gladly hop on my hermit and help him get them... IF he's killing alongside me. I'm completely willing to help, but I'm not doing it for you.

Pretty much, if I can help you, I will. Within reason. What else do I bring? An excellent working knowledge of Maplestory, guilds, and party quests XD. I'm quite nice and polite, and amusing at times... Also a little hyper, when the mood strikes.



Rules
To prove you're serious, you'll have to show you've read the rules by listing them. In your own words, briefly name each HouseHlaalu rule. You don't have to describe them, all we're looking for is understanding the rules. So, a name or title is sufficient. Copy/pasting will pretty much give you an automatic decline, but you're allowed to look over the rules in another window as long as you still put it into your own words to show you've read them.
I'm assuming this means guild rules. If forum rules are necessary as well, I can add those.

1. No spamming JM ME Pl0xxxxxx I is gud ldr! - No problem with this. Any advancement I receive will be on my own merits, not on my ability to spam the chat with begging.

2. Practice respect, not only to guild members but to all Maplestory players. Hold up the reputation of the guild through your actions and words.

3. Help if you can, go the extra mile if possible.

4. Uphold the values of the guild.. I think I mentioned this in 2, but anyway: Don't be a jerk, treat others as you would like to be treated, etc.

5. Spam is evil.... agreed. Uh... never done that. I might get a little post happy if hyper, but it'll always be relevant to the conversation.

6. Watch yer darn language! Er... keep it PG?

About You
Briefly explain a little bit about yourself.
I'm 19 and from Canada, going into my second year of university in the fall of 2008. I'm getting an Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature, plus a Majors in Linguistics... aiming for a Masters and a PhD later, and then teaching or research.

I love animals, and I've volunteered at an adoption centre for cats for... well, 4 years this November. I would like to be that stereotypical crazy lady down the street with dogs and cats Just kidding. Seriously, I'd like to have dogs and cats though, and I'm interested in showing, agility, and obedience trials.

Hmm... what else? I love computers, and I know some coding. I read a lot, both off the Internet and on -> Fanfiction. I write sometimes, although it usually comes out darker than I'm expecting... No idea why that is.

Oh, Maplestory. Hmm... well, I have a bit of a penchant for making new chars... I'm running on about 12 in Khaini right now, although I only play seriously on... maybe 2-3 right now. My main's a Hermit, APQ mule is a Priest... I have a CPQ bandit and a Hunter that I'm working on... Along with this char, who's quickly becoming my new main.

**Right now we only accept Khaini applicants as there are no brother guilds on other servers. Those who apply for another server will be put in waiting and considered when their resident server gains a Hlaalu of it's own.

It says on the first post here that:

Your application should be locked when it's noticed by a moderator. If it's been a while and it hasn't been, contact one. This is done to keep spam out, 'cause, you know. Who needs it.

Just that's why I would assume he locked it
