Level 40-50 Equipment Thread

Hey, I'm always gonna be looking for better equipment than what I have right now, until I'm satisfied that I have the best I can, I guess, so if anyone comes across something, let me know. I've had difficulty finding armor for myself since I hit 40. I favor above average stuff, lol, for obvious reasons, and am willing to pay the price for them.

I'll update this list as I change items.

Top: Higher than 36 W. Def, preferrably with a few DEX.
(Currently: Dark Piettra, W. DEF 36, DEX +3, MP+12.)

Bottom: Higher than 27 W. Def, ditto.
(Currently: White Piettra, W. DEF 27, DEX+1, MP+10).

Hat: Higher than 35 W. Def.
(Currently: Maple Hat STR+2, DEX+2, INT+2, LUK+2, HP+12, MP+12, W.DEF 35, M.DEF 50)

Shoes: Higher than 24 W. Def, preferably with speed or jump, or something.
(Currently: Red Pierre, W.DEF 24, STR+1, MP+5)

Gloves: Higher than 16 W. Def and 3 DEX.
(Current: Gold Brace, W.DEF 15, DEX +2)
(Bidding on: Dark Brace, W.DEF 16, DEF +3)

Cape: Higher than 8 W. DEF, and Speed +10, Preferably above M. DEF 11.
(Current: Icarus' Cape (2), MP+10, W.DEF 8, M. DEF 11, Speed+10)

Pendant: Higher than 28 W. Def and 25 M. Def, preferably with a DEX boost.
(Current:Spiegelmann Necklace, STR+1, DEX+1, INT+1, LUK+1, W. DEF 28, M. DEF 25)

Earring: Some W. Def, preferably DEX too.
(Current: Blue Moon, M. Def 20)
(Bidding On: Moonstar Earrings, W.DEF 9, M.DEF 31, ACC +1)

Current Funds: ~10mil, give or take a few hundred thousand.

If you find equipment for around 50 and 60 as well, you can tell me. I am interested in 50 overalls, but I'd want something with around 70 W.Def. Right now, I won't need any new crossbows for a while, though, as my level 50 puts me at 81 W. Attack, and my 60, when I get it, will put me at 96 W. Attack.

haha, I think you've corrected enough to not be able to say you're only anal about your stuff.

But thats ok, thats why you're a good choice for a mod, and youve got some sense on you so you'll know if something needs deleting.

But if you consider "Not moderating" being an awesome mod, I'll have to find more candidates.

You worry too much about Defence Tarah.
It's really not that big of an issue.

But then again, this is coming a warrior.

As you can see, I put emphasis on DEX as well. I would also put emphasis on things like speed, avoid, w. attack, etc. But the basic thing you look for in a piece of armor is defense and whatever other thing is important to your class. It is called armor. I figured I would put the basic requirements and people could fill in the blanks if they had any equipment of use.

I'm not about to buy something with worse defense than what I already paid for unless it has something really awesome to offer instead. Why would anybody downgrade for less?

It is because 1~5 extra w.def is pretty much useless as 2~3 defense only give 1 less touch damage which won't change any thing if you die in 2 hits from a monster, you also wouldn't see any change in the average damage a monster does to you.

Yes, I know it doesn't make a big difference, but it doesn't mean I'm going to start buying stuff with weaker weapon defense either. I see that as totally pointless. It all adds up in the end, and I'm able to fight the monsters I can with success because I'm smart about the equipment I buy.

Doesnt have any speed bonuses on it, but it's clean.
